Transheat scope

Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for the miter bend to ensure that stresses within the miter bend are within the code allowable limits while considering the various load cases and boundary conditions specified by client.
All design documents reviewed by : ASME AI.

Major design attributes

Based on FEA results, Miter bend thickness increased to 20 mm to ensure that the membrane stresses are within the code allowable limits.

Load cases – one with inward axial force and another with outward axial force – considered for design pressure case & full vacuum case
